    Excellent food bar. 4g of fiber is great for 70 calories. My only complaint—and reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that the bars are very crumbly lately. Still edible, but previous versions of these bars were a bit more compact and had more moisture to them. The latest ones we’ve been eating are just a mess at times and the kids need water after each bite. Still, nothing else like them on the market for quality, taste, and micro-nutrient composition and we will continue purchasing, but with the hope of them reading this and making the adjustment to the crumb.

    We love the apple cinnamon & squash flavor as a yummy, gluten-free, low-seed-oil, somewhat organic portable snack. And, as with all packaged foods, there’s soooo much room for improvement: the Organic Glycerin is likely from seed oils and it would be great to have that clarified and switched to coconut oil if so. Ascorbic acid in the apple puree seems unnecessary to preserve color as the bars are brown anyway. Citric acid and natural flavor are sketchy ingredients too. And it’s super weird that the Yumi Superfood Blend isn’t made with organic ingredients!! (Broccoli, Spinach, Kale, Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, Sunflower Seed, Cranberry, Chlorella, Maitake Mushroom, Shiitake Mushroom)
